NORTHEAST WASHINGTON GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY One of the benefits of becoming a member of NeWGS is to take part in our locality and surname lists. Below you will find the names and addresses of those NeWGS members who have submitted their lists of localities and surnames being researched in 2006. If you are a member and have not sent in your list, please do so. You will then be included on the next list. Download a sample form here. Localities are listed by state or country, county and approximate years of interest. Surnames can be listed on the back or on another sheet. They do not have to be alphabetical. These lists are updated every even year. It is our hope that they will help our researchers get together to share information, tips on researching in a particular area, microfilm and books that may be of interest to others.
